Plan B a/k/a Plan W (Waiting.....)

In case you have been here lately and wondered why there has been no further news on our looooong-awaited home, it's because I have none......yet. After all these years, I suppose I can wait a few more months. Especially since it appears I have no choice. My husband decided to do much of the site prep himself to save on expenses, but then came our typical Northwest winter which has been more like the Tropical Rainforest the past month. As I write this, we are in our 25th straight day of rain (the record is 33, set over 50 years ago) and I am considering the feasibility of commuting to the park n'ride in an ark instead of my car (kidding about that last part). So needless to say, till things dry out, not a lot can happen with the site prep. This tin can we "live" in is falling apart day by day; we had no choice but to replace the back door, and Rex had to put a tarp over the window behind my recliner in the living room when I felt a few raindrops last week. Our present "living" conditions as compared with what awaits us makes it that much harder to continue waiting. I trust things can proceed soon, and I am anxiously waiting to be able to report any progress here. So, once again, stay tuned....
